Sharon Shepard is a seasoned consultant and operator with over 25 years of experience scaling businesses, optimizing operations, and driving mission-driven growth. With more than a decade of consulting experience, she helps organizations navigate complex challenges, develop competitive strategies, and strengthen leadership capacity to deliver lasting results.
For nearly two decades, she was Managing Director of the Social Impact Venture Fund at BlueHub Capital, a $1.4 billion Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), where the fund’s portfolio companies created nearly 5,000 jobs nationwide, leveraging $225 million in capital. She also led the expansion of BlueHub’s foreclosure prevention business into new states, stabilizing more than 1,000 families facing foreclosure.
Sharon was also Chief Operating Officer of SaVida Health, a private equity–backed outpatient healthcare company, where she led expansion into four states, launched 30 new clinics, and integrated multiple acquisitions—building the operational infrastructure for long-term success in behavioral health.
Her earlier career includes leadership roles in high-growth startups, including CEO and other C-suite positions in technology firms, and she has been an early developer and adopter of AI.
Sharon has served on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards and was a Member of the MIT Corporation Visiting Committee. She holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
